CHELAN FRUIT THIEVES ARRESTED

Two Chelan men are in jail and face charges of burglary and theft after stealing around $7,000 of items from Chelan Fruit off Howser Road in Chelan last week. Deputies responded to the call and say video footage and the ensuing investigation led them to 24 year old Alan Larumbe and 23 year old Santiago Alexis Jimenez who were both arrested. Not only did deputies recover and return the majority of items stolen from Chelan Fruit, they also discovered additional items and evidence that investigators say it might link both men to other thefts and burglaries. Larumbe and Alexis Jimenez are facing charges of 2 counts of 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft. They remain incarcerated at the Chelan County Jail while awaiting a court date.
