CHELAN F&R SEARCH FOR SEASONAL FIREFIGHTERS

We checked in with Chelan Fire & Rescue yesterday and asked how they were doing with their search for seasonal firefighters. We were told that they're still looking, that one applicant didn't have the necessary requirements, and one volunteer is looking to apply. But they need three seasonal firefighters ready to go by the middle of April. Chief Brandon Asher says it's quite an opportunity for the right person:

So, what kind of person are they looking for? Who fits the bill?

If you're interested – or know someone who might be, you can call Chelan Fire & Rescue at 509-682-4476 and speak with Chief Asher or Assistant Chief Shawn Sherman; seasonal firefighter applications are available on their website, chelan7.com.
