CAREER EXPO FAIRS COMING

Showing high school students what career and education opportunities are available in the area is the aim of the 2023 NCW Career and College Expos to be held over the next month or so. They're being put on by the North Central Educational Service District; Tammy McBride is with the NCESD:

The first expo will be held in Grant County Thursday October 12th at Big Bend Community College, it will then move to the Okanogan Agriplex Wednesday morning October 18th and then Tuesday November 7th at Wenatchee Valley College. McBride says attendees will get a good look at what's available to them in the area:

McBride says they're hoping to see a lot of kids show up:

The expos are free to both kids and to the employers and colleges, McBride says they'd like to have both attendees and exhibitors sign up at least a week before the first event by going to ncesd-dot-org-foward slash-career-dash-expos.
