If you have no plans Thursday, Friday or Saturday, take a drive down to what I call the “industrial section” of Chelan and see some cars at Miller's Auto Museum. It's got a collection of more than 80 cars spread across five buildings, including more than half a dozen Corvettes. He was talking about them with David Marz on KOZI last Saturday:
Miller says he gets the cars from all over the west coast, but some of the cars may have been running around these areas:
Miller runs his museum as a non-profit that runs on donations which Miller uses for youth scholarships with the help of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. He says it's important to get the kids involved:
Miller says he was able to give about 7-thousand dollars in scholarships last year, which kids used for trade schools.
Miller's Auto Museum is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through the end of September, hours are 1 to 4 p.m. It's located at 20 Blue Water Lane in Chelan, drive down 150 a bit and turn right at the hot tub place. It's located near Zippy Disposal.
