A SOMEWHAT QUIET JANUARY FOR MANSON FIRE DEPARTMENT

From a fire standpoint, it was a quiet January for the Manson Fire Department. But that doesn't mean they didn't do anything. Manson Fire Chief Arnold Baker explains:




Baker and Chelan County Fire District 5 are making plans for their new training facility at its Wapato Lake Road station. Baker says the Manson Fire Commission was wondering if they were overdoing the plans for the facility, until the chief showed its possibilities:





Manson Fire has the budget for the training facility set, Baker says they want to build as much as they can, and prioritize what they want in case the money runs out.
