[3/21/22] Link Transit Ridership Up

Posted in Transportation

Through the pandemic, ridership on all transit systems across the country has taken a hit, although Link Transit has fared better than most systems, with ridership levels at about 70 percent of pre-pandemic numbers. But with gas prices skyrocketing the last couple of weeks, Link is starting to see ridership starting to increase. Link Communications Manager Erik West spoke to KOZI last week:

There are no official numbers on current ridership yet, but West is optimistic the numbers they’ll get for March in a couple of weeks will be higher:

Not only will you save money on gas driving to Wenatchee and back, as well as the wear and tear on your car, but riding Link Transit is free, and will be for some time to come.
