Forecast calls for hot weather with winds that look to be in favor of the fire fight

Air Support back on today as crews continue to dig containment box around the fire

Incident Management: Interagency Type 3 Organization.

Cause: Under Investigation

Fire Size: 250 acres

Percent Contained: 30%

Structures Threatened:6

Closures: Chelan County Sherriff will determine evacuations and road closures if necessary.

Resources:  Local, State and Federal resources are on scene.

Air Operations:  Multiple aircraft on scene including airplanes and helicopters.

Weather: A weak disturbance will move through the area today with a high near 93.

Operations:  During this Initial Attack, firefighters are working in grass and timber in steep terrain 13 miles north of Orondo Washington along Highway 97.  The fire is moving south, away from the highway in the Columbia river breaks.
