Climate Change in the Northwest:  Implications for Our Landscapes, Waters, and Communities”

Amy Snover says our future communities, ecosystems and economies will be shaped by our ability to recognize and manage climate risks.  Ongoing climate variations have deep implications for how we see our home, how we do our work and how we live in a time of change.  Amy, the Director of the Climate Impacts Group and a professor at the University of Washington, was the lead author of a groundbreaking guidebook to help local and state governments prepare for climate change, and she has helped communities in Pacific Northwest be at the forefront of climate adaptation and mitigation.

The program is free and open to everyone.  The doors open at 6:30pm.  Light refreshments available. For more information, contact 996-2870 or mary@methowconservancy.org.
