2018 Entertainment Schedule
9:00am • Savanna Woods
Savanna is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from the Seattle area with an amazing voice and intuitive ability to interpret a song. Along with playing solo sets, she is also the lead singer for the original band, Waking Maya. She plays a mix of original music from the soul and acoustic covers. When she isn’t playing or writing music, she loves to travel the world and go camping with her dogs.
10:00am • The Saddle Rockers
The Saddle Rockers are five friends from Wenatchee and Peshastin who like to get together and play all kinds of music. Their fun and varied repertoire includes bluegrass, country swing, jazz and vintage rock – much of it danceable. Band includes Dave Notter, fiddle; Jac Tiechner, guitar; Bruce McWhirter, guitar; Steve Clem or Joe Guimond, bass; Chris Rader, percussion. Everybody sings, too, and you’re welcome to sing along!
11:30am • Rolf Vegdahl & Gary Myers
Rolf Vegdahl has been entertaining folks in the Chelan Valley and beyond for decades, as a member of Jeanne and the Concubines, with various fellow artists and as a solo artist. He’s joined by Gary Myers for a fun combination of guitar playing and harmonies.
12:00pm • Kevin Jones Band
The Kevin Jones Band is guaranteed to put a smile on your face with tight rhythms and fat, lush harmonies. Kevin Jones – Guitar and Vocals, Doyle Wood – Mandolin, Greg Hendrickson Bass, Vocals and Keyboards, Owen Barnhart on drums, Kari Sandwick vocals & guitar. Same great sound with some new tunes and ear-pleasing harmony vocals!!
1:30pm • Performance by Chelan Dance Centre
A yearly favorite. Don’t miss these talented (and I have to say so adorable) performers.
2:00pm • 2nd Annual Trashion Show Sneak Peek
This annual event will provide a sneak peek of the fund raising gala held later that evening. More details coming soon!
2:30pm • Mugsy’s Groove with Special Guest Kevin Jones
Mugsy’s Groove is a high-energy trio that melds pop, soul, funk, rock, jazz, and even electronica with three part harmonies to create a one-of-a-kind fusion of sound and rhythm. It’s old school meets new school…and a musical personality that’s unlike anything you’ve heard before! Gregg Harnish: Gregg’s soulful voice and rhythmic guitar are the foundation of the band. He also serves as primary song writer, possessing an uncanny ability to craft unforgettable lyrics and melodies. Doug Williams: Doug is undeniably “the groove” in Mugsy’s Groove – his feel on the drum set is in the pocket and melodically inspired. He also delivers one of the sweetest lead vocals in the region. Greg Hendrickson: Greg’s passion – besides performing – is to constantly explore new soundscapes, playing techniques and exotic instruments. In Mugsy’s Groove, Greg kicks multi-instrumentalalism into overdrive – singing, playing five string bass and synthesizer all at the same time! His ability to layer sounds and punctuate arrangements sets the tone for the band
