[11/18/16] AAAHC surveyors, who are themselves health care professionals

Posted in Health

Whether you’re anticipating a surgical procedure, selecting a pediatrician for your newborn, or something in-between, you expect safe, high-quality care.

AAAHC certificate of accreditation is a sign that a health care organization meets or exceeds nationally-recognized standards.  The organization participates in on-going self evaluation, peer review and education to continuously improve its care and services.  The organization also commits to a thorough, on-site survey by AAAHC surveyors, who are themselves health care professionals.

Karen McKellar of Chelan was recently honored by The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for dedication more than 20 years of service as a surveyor with the association.
