For some 20 years, the U.S. Forest Service and Hawkwatch International have camped out on Cooper Ridge each fall and and done a count of the raptors that come through the area heading south on their annual migration to who-knows-where.  The annual count is going on again, and Chelan District Ranger Kari Grover-Weir says you’re invited to go up to Cooper Ridge and watch:
