Seven members of the Chelan FFA joined over 150 FFA members from around the state of Washington to take part in the 212/360 Leadership Training on Saturday February 1st at Wenatchee Valley College. The training was part of a National Leadership Training program by the National FFA Organization to ignite members passion for leadership and to teach goal setting, team building, and consensus building techniques. The trainers for program are former State and National FFA Officers.
The 360 training is geared for older FFA members who have started to take leadership roles within their chapters. Apolinar Blanco, Dane Schwartz, Bobby Hanson, Jake Horlebien, and Amanda Reeves were the Chelan FFA members who took part in this level of training. 212 is for younger members of the FFA and Julia Horlebein and Stephanie Olivera learned the leadership techniques for the Chelan chapter.
These members will now put on workshops in the their local chapter for the rest of the Chelan FFA members.
