State Patrol Troopers were led on a 60 mile high speed chase that spanned through two counties and reached speeds up to 105 MPH.
The driver was identified as a 15 year old girl who was accompanied by a 16 year old male passenger. The car had been reported stolen earlier by the male passenger's father. A report filed last Thursday stated that the vehicle in-question was stolen by two males.
The two juveniles eluded the police for almost an hour before the police bumped the car out of control near Coulee City. The female suspect allegedly told officers she didn't stop because she knew the vehicle was stolen and that she didn't want to go back to juvenile hall.
The boy has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police while the girl was charged with driving without a license, attempting to elude police, and reckless driving.
