Forest Service Lost Revenue 10/25/2013

The aftermath of the 2-week partial government shutdown is still reeling in, and the forest service is no exception to the sting.

The shutdown fell in the middle of fall, a prime recreating time for folks wanting to get their last licks in before winter hits.

Robin Demario, a spokeswoman for the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, says the forest service lost revenue from the shutdown, but the amount varied from district to district…
