Bridgeport Citizens are taking a stand against their high rate of vandalism, theft and other illegal activities by launching a city wide Neighborhood Block Watch Program they hope to have up and running by next month.
Neighbors working together in cooperation with law enforcement can make one of the best crime-fighting teams around. The Block Watch Program is a free program that involves getting acquainted with your neighbors, and looking out for one another- to fight the isolation and separation that criminals prey on in neighborhoods.
Bridgeport Mayor, Marilyn Lynn, says the launching of this program is in response to the climbing criminal activity in the city- and citizens are fed up.
A presentation and rally to initiate the new Block Watch Program is set to be held on May 1st- and all Bridgeport citizens are invited and encouraged to attend."CLICK HERE" for Audio
