Chelan Firefighters Called Out From Banquet 3/14/2013
The Chelan Fire District 7‘s awards banquet, held February 16th, kicked off with bells and whistles….literally.
 
Chelan Fire Chief, Tim Lemon, says crews were toned out to a call shortly after it the annual event got underway.
 
Soon after returning from the call, fire personnel and their significant others, (150 in all) packed the ballroom at Campbell’s Resort for the ceremony that honored many of the important service men and women in our valley.
 
In addition to fire personnel, three businesses were recognized as part of the Helping Hands award: The Apple Cup Café, Chelan Red Apple Market and Starbucks were all thanked for their help in providing food for firefighters throughout the year.
