Tuesday’s certification of the February 12th Special Election put the official stamp of passage on the local school levies, including the capital levy in Chelan and both the Maintenance and Operations Levy as well as the Capital levy in Manson.
Manson School Superintendent, Matt Charlton, says the- the Manson School board is turning their focus to the much needed improvements, which could take place sooner than expected and the board took time at their meeting Monday to thank the community.
Also made official with Tuesday’s certification in ChelanCounty was the Entiat bond- which did not pass. It garnered 57.9% of the votes- but needed 60% to pass. After the final ballot count and certification – ChelanCounty voter turnout was 49.5%.
