Manson Students Award $10,000 In Grants 2/21/2013
Manson High School ASB students have successfully awarded $10 thousand to 12 of their own teachers and administrators as part of a Community Foundation Great Giving Grant Program.
 
ASB President, Alexis Castro, says a panel of 10 student officers reviewed applications to determine who would receive funding that is donated by local business owners, Jack and Gale Courtney.
 
This year’s grant funding went towards the following projects: weight room equipment, art display case, academic awards assembly, music curriculum, library books, the 5th annual family math night, lockable tennis ball cart, daycare support for parents taking GED preparation classes, conflict resolution curriculum, sensory materials for special needs students and multiple math projects.
