Sarah Kunkel was crowned Miss Lake Chelan during last night’s selection – with Karle Pittsinger as first runner up and Aleea Ferguson as second runner up.

 

A total of seven contestants danced, performed a variety of talents, donned evening gowns and answered impromptu questions in front of a packed house at the Chelan high School PAC during last night’s selection pageant.

 

Contestants were judged on scholastic achievements, interviews with the judges, fitness and agility, talent, self expression and spirit.

 

The 2012 royal court was on hand to announce and crown the 2013 Miss Lake Chelan Royalty.

 

Other awards for the evening went to Hanna Harris and Karle Pittsinger for the Fitness Awards, Miss Congeniality Aleea Ferguson, Scholastic Scholarships Aleea Ferguson, Karle Pittsinger and Sarah Kunkel. The winner of the interview award was Romaine Doty, Self Expression award went to Karina Mendoza-Flores, And the coveted Spirit of Miss Lake Chelan was Janette Meneses.
