It’s a case of: “if at first you don’t succeed- try, try again” for supporters of a skateboard park in Bridgeport.

 

Bridgeport Mayor, Marilyn Lynn, says after turning down the idea in the past, the City Council had a change of heart at their meeting last week when a local student asked for support for a skateboard park inside city limits.

 

The council hopes to begin planning in the next few months- and is considering BerrymanPark as a potential location, which is also near the city swimming pool.
