It's important to dispose of expired drugs or medications you no longer use. They pose a serious health risk to children and pets and may be abused if not disposed of properly.

 

ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Office is now making it easier by offering a year-round disposal program both in Wenatchee as well as Chelan.

 

North Sergeant, Rob Huddleston says the county has offered a drug take back program for the past few years, but not to this capacity.

 

The drug drop-off disposal is free and is available for prescribed narcotics, prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, medication samples, pet medications, medicated ointments & lotions, vitamins, inhalers and unopened EpiPens.
