Chelan CountyPUD plans to launch several programs later this month aimed at energy conservation.

 

Mark Wiser, Senior Energy Conservation Advisor says the new programs are a great value for the PUD as well as its customer-owners and is also part of a state mandated energy independence act.

 

Wiser says the PUD will roll out the menu of appliance rebates by the end of February.

 

In addition to rebates for purchasing new appliances, Wiser says the PUD will also offer a refrigerator and freezer recycling program.
