The 2013 Miss Lake Chelan selection pageant will be held tonight at the Chelan High School PAC starting at 5 PM.

 

Seven Chelan High School Juniors are vying for the title and will be judged as follows:

 

20% - for Scholastic Achievements ~ 25% on their 20 minute Interviews ~ 10% on fitness and agility ~20% on the talent they showcase during tonight’s show ~ 10% on self expression and composure ~ and 15% for meeting deadlines and being on time during the past several weeks for practices.

 

Linda Kelly, who is one of the organizers of the annual scholarship program, tells us who will star in tonight’s line up.

 

Kelly adds that tonight’s show is more than just the contestants, and will also include the escorts who have also put in several hours preparing for their turn in the spotlight.

 

In the end, three girls will be crowned—but in reality, everyone of the participants wins by way of scholorships.

 

The public is invited to watch the 2013 Miss Lake Chelan selection night – tonight starting at 5 PM in the Chelan High School PAC – tickets are $8/person- and that money goes directly back towards scholarships for these girls.
