The Chelan CountyPUD announced that General Manager, John Janney will leave his position with the PUD this summer.

 

KOZI caught up with Janney, who told us that his decision was not easy, and comes down to refocusing his priorities.

 

Janney’s tenure with the Chelan County PUD began in 2007 as the Chief Risk Officer.

 

Janney led Chelan County PUD through one of the most difficult economic periods in its history- an effort that culminated in a new strategic plan in 2010 that reflected the priorities and references of PUD customers and set the PUD on a sustainable course.

 

As a result, the PUD is expected to meet or exceed aggressive debt reduction targets, is on track to establish and maintain prudent rainy day reserves.
