The Chelan City Council will see the City’s finance report from 2012 at their meeting tomorrow night- giving them a view of three full years of history.
ChelanCity Finance Director, Cheryl Grant, says the report does not come with any big surprises, but one thing that does stand out is how busy the city was with projects.
The CDBG, or community development block grant us Federal dollars that is administered at the State level by the Department of Commerce- while the TIB, or Transportation Improvement Board grant is state dollars administered by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
And, Grant says that although there was good news when it comes to the final numbers in the budget, it is not as good as the City had hoped for.
Grant also encourages everyone who is interested to take a look at the budget, on the City’s website.
