Chelan Council Tackling Shoreline Plan 2/7/2013
The Chelan City Council attended a joint meeting last week with the Department of Ecology and the Planning Commission to discuss the Shoreline Master Project, as proposed by the Department of Ecology.
 
That discussion, according to council member Mike Steele, was blunt and at times, frustrating.
 
And with the grant from the Department of Ecology set to expire on June 30th, the pressure was on for the council to adopt the shoreline policy- however, council member Steele is saying- not so fast.
