Those interested in claiming the recent vacated seat on the MansonParks and Recreation board, have until next Friday- one week from today- to turn in an application to the Parks Office.

 

The vacancy comes after the resignation of Matt Carpenter, who has served on the board for about a year and a half.

 

Manson Parks Director, Wai Petersen says the new board member, who will be appointed by the board at their Thursday, February 14 meeting, will serve until the end of 2013.

 

Application forms for the vacant seat on the Manson parks and Recreation board are available for pick up at the Manson Parks office on Pedoi Street in Manson, or on the Manson Parks website – www.mansonparks.com.
