The PaterosSchool District has moved in a new portable building and will now turn its attention to the final details, including electricity, flooring and trim work.
Pateros Superintendent, Lois (LOW-ISS) Davies, says the building will be occupied by two teachers who desperately need the legroom.
Davies says the money to purchase the $82 thousand portable is coming from the district’s general fund.
The district expects to have students in the new portable building by mid-February.
