Chelan’s Winterfest, Fire and Ice celebration continues into this weekend, including the wine walk, an ice bar, live music, the annual bonfire and of course the Polar Bear Plunge.
And this year, the Polar Bear Plunge will have some uninvited, yet much appreciated participants, in the way of ChelanCounty Fire and Rescue Marine Rescue.
Chelan District 7 Fire Chief, Tim Lemon, says they station will be fully staffed and available to the community, as always, but they will also be on hand at Don Morse Park for both the Polar Bear Plunge, and the bonfire.
Tomorrow’s Polar Bear Plunge and bonfire will kick off at 7:45 with fireworks to begin at about 8.
