Chelan FFA Hosts Annual Hort Fair Monday 1/18/2013
Monday, January 21st is Martin Luther King Day- and is also the Lake Chelan Horticulture Trade Show at ChelanHigh School.
 
Chelan FFA Advisor, Rod Cool, tells KOZI that the FFA Alumni and students host the Trade Show, adding that it is a long standing tradition for ChelanHigh School.
 
The event, features a host of professional booths and classes, that, according to Cool, are a great way for local growers and their employees to earn spray credits.
 
And while many of their peers will be enjoying their day off school –Chelan’s FFA students will be enjoying their day at school.
 
Monday’s Lake Chelan Horticulture Day will be held at the ChelanHigh School from 8AM until 3PM. All proceeds from the event are used to provide scholarships and support the members and activities of the Chelan FFA.
