It’s National School Board Recognition Month- a chance for us to honor our neighbors who serve to improve public education as well as their communities.

 

In Chelan and surrounding communities, a five member board serves without pay- working closely with the school superintendents to improve teaching and learning to make sure students receive a high quality education.

 

Chelan Superintendent, Rob Manahan, tells us that those who serve in the Chelan District are incredible individuals who combine to become a top-notch school board.

 

On the ChelanSchool board are: Ken Bruner, Jim Colbert, Elizabeth Juarez, Lynda Foster and Siri Tift.
