The Washington State Department of Transportation will make a presentation to Chelan City Council tomorrow night during their regular council meeting, before asking for guidance on the SR 150/ No See-Um intersection.
If the council does not give their nod of approval, Washington State Department of Transportation will not likely be as eager to move forward with final design and funding for the $5 million project.
Mayor Bob Goedde told KOZI in an interview last week that tomorrow’s presentation will mirror the DOT’s presentation during their November Open House, with the exception of a few changes.
City Administrator, Paul Schmidt, says it really comes down to the now or never risk that the council will need to stand behind, or not.
Tomorrow’s council meeting and WSDOT presentation will begin at 6PM in Council Chambers in ChelanCity Hall.
We are asking listeners to visit our webpage at KOZI.COM to weigh in on how you feel about the proposed project."CLICK HERE" for Audio
