ChelanCounty Sheriff Officials are reporting that more than $12 thousand in stolen property has been recovered after the arrest of a 33-year old Christian Merchant, of Wenatchee, in connection with several burglaries throughout the county, including Chelan.

 

ChelanCounty Sheriff, Brian Burnett, says the arrest came after detectives executed two search warrants on a Wenatchee residence and a storage unit.

 

Burnett added that it is still too early to list the specific burglaries connected to the arrest, and is unsure if there is a link to the recent burglary at LuLu’s Boutique in downtown Chelan, but did say that the arrest will put closure to multiple burglaries that have occurred in Chelan.
