Maintain current partnerships, remain a volunteer station and work to improve response time… in a nutshell, that is the outcome of a recent report compiled by the citizen advisory board who recently teamed up to take an outside look at the Manson Fire Department.
Manson Fire Chief, Arnold Baker, says the taskforce was formed from citizens in the community who are not associated with the fire district personnel and they spent months studying data from the district to assess the service the district provides.
Baker adds that one of the biggest topics in the report pertains to the partnership the Fire district has formed with the hospital and EMS services.
The report also added a recommendation to the district.
