Fore Named To District Court Bench 12/19/2012
ChelanCounty Commissioners announced the appointment of Roy Fore as District Court Judge after conducting interviews on the three candidate finalist’s yesterday morning.
 
Fore is currently serving as Deputy Prosecutor for ChelanCounty and will be assuming the role vacated by Alicia Nakata, who was elected to the Superior Court Bench.
 
Chelan CountyCommissioner, Doug England, says Fore will transition into is new position shortly after the first of the year.
 
The District Court Judge earns an annual salary of nearly $142 thousand—up from Fore’s current salary as deputy prosecutor, of $84 thousand.
