Last Thursday’s Special Council meeting gave city officials as well as those attending an inside look at options to increase the efficiency of the city owned golf course.

 

The turnout was enough to require standing room only, and City Administrator, Paul Schmidt, says its always nice to see interested citizens gather to be involved in city business.

 

Chelan Mayor, Bob Goedde, says the issue is an important one that the council wants a quick resolution to, however, he admits the decision may take time.

 

So, what’s next? Schmidt says the city will gather the input they have received, adding that a couple points were favored by nearly all who spoke up.

 

The Chelan City Council will meet this Thursday, for a regularly scheduled meeting.
