KOZI has obtained a copy, from a confidential and reliable source, of an email sent to Chelan School Distrrict staff by Superintendent Rob Manahan explaining the decision between the school district and Darren Talley to part ways....

 

"The Lake Chelan School District would like to inform you that a decision has been made between Darren Talley and the school district to part ways in regard to his role as Head Coach of the Chelan High School Football team. While both parties highly respect one another and have similar goals for students with regard to their success in football and in life, it became evident that there were philosophical and programmatic differences that could not be reconciled.

Coach Talley has served as the head football coach for the past seven years and built a strong and competitive team. We have appreciated his dedication and effort over the years and wish him well in all future endeavors."
