It may not be prime golf season, but that is exactly what is on the minds of city officials heading into tomorrow night’s special meeting.

 

The meeting has one agenda item: to continue the discussion on alternative golf course management options.

 

Council will hear from city staff, an outside management consultant company, as well as the current golf pro before opening the meeting for public comment.

 

ChelanCity Council member, Mike Cooney, tells KOZI that this is aa performance audit, and really all boils down to the fact that the council has one main obligation.

 

Council member Mike Steele agrees, adding that the purpose of tomorrow’s meeting is to offer council an opportunity to explore all the options that exist for the golf course.

 

Tomorrow’s meeting will start at 6PM in Council chambers at city hall. The public is, as always, invited and encouraged to attend. Tune in to KOZI shortly after 8am on Friday morning, we will hear from City officials on how that meeting went.
