Chelan Superintendent, Rob Manahan and Manson Superintendent, Matt Charlton recently returned from a seven day visit to China as part of a National Program.
The program is funded primarily by the Chinese government, who coordinates with the college board in bringing 400 delegates from US school to several provinces in China every year.
Manson Superintendent, Matt Charlton, told KOZI that he and Manahan were part of the same group, who had the opportunity to visit five schools while they were there.
Charlton adds that education in the US and in China, are really at two different ends of the spectrum.
During their visit to China, Charlton says the strangest things they were fed were donkey, and black fungus.
