Neighbors Fed Up With Drug Activity 11/30/2012
It’s no secret that the City of Chelan has certain neighborhoods with drug activity and drug related crimes on the rise.

In fact, representatives from the ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Office along with the Drug Taskforce have met with community members regarding those concerns.

The problem? Community members are frustrated by the lack of a resolution, and Sheriff Deputies say their hands are tied.

ChelanCounty North Sergeant, Rob Huddleston, says that the deputies know about the problem areas, and sympathize with the citizens.

Huddleston says he feels the neighborhood is a safe place to live, but encourages neighbors who are aware of drug activity in their neighborhood to document and report it to ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Office.
