Washington State University outside hitter Jaicee Harris was named to the 2012 All-Pac-12 Volleyball honorable mention team announced Tuesday by Commissioner Larry Scott.
Harris, a 5-11 outside hitter from Chelan, Wash., led the Cougars this season with 3.91 kills per set average which was ranked ninth-best in the conference, and 4.36 points per set average which was eighth-best in the Pac-12. Harris tied for first on the team in service aces with 27 and second on the team with 286 digs for a 2.53 digs per set average.
The Conference of Champions, with seven teams selected for the 2012 NCAA Championship Tournament, selected 14 players to the All-Pac-12 team and 14 additional players were named to the honorable mention team. Seven players were selected to the All-Freshman team and an additional seven players were named to the All-Freshman honorable mention squad.
The 2012 Pac-12 Player of the Year is Oregon's Alaina Bergsma with USC's Samantha Bricio named the Freshman of the Year. Other top honors went to Oregon's Lauren Plum for Setter of the Year, USC's Natalie Hagglund for Libero of the Year, and Stanford's John Dunning for Coach of the Year.
