Mayor Weighs In On Proposed Changes 11/27/2012
Tomorrow is the open house on the design alternatives that are being proposed to improve the SR 150/No See-Um intersection between Chelan and Manson.

That Open House is set to be held between 3PM and 7PM at the CehlanCity Hall.

Washington State Department of Transportation will be proposing two options for the intersection: a roundabout, or moving the intersection and adding turn lanes.

Chelan Mayor, Bob Goedde voiced his concerns surrounding the anticipated changes, starting with the funding, or lack thereof.

Tomorrow’s Open House will be held from 3-7 at the Chelan City Hall and you are encouraged to come learn details of the project, compare the alternatives and let the DOT know how you feel.

Tune in to KOZI tomorrow morning, when we will hear what ChelanCounty Commissioner, Doug England has to say about the project. We will also have DOT project Engineer Kevin Waligorski on live to answer a few questions about the future of that intersection.
