Open House for Manson Downtown Phase 2 11/27/2012
ChelanCounty Public Works is hosting an open house tomorrow night, offering all interested community members the chance to learn more and participate in Phase 2 of the Manson Downtown project.

The meeting will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 at the Manson Parks Office on Pedoi Street in Manson.

The project includes the grinding of failing pavement on Wapato Way from Green Avenue to the end of SR 150 and overlaying the road with new asphalt. Curbs and outdated pedestrian ramps will also be retrofitted to comply with the American Disabilities Act.

ChelanCounty Commissioner told KOZI that the project was initially planned as one phase.

The surface improvements will be funded, in part, through a federal grant awarded to ChelanCounty Public Works.

That meeting is tomorrow from 4:30PM until 6:30 at the Manson Parks Office at 142 Pedoi Street in Manson.
