Significant progress has been made with Okanogan Complex fires which consist of the Leecher Fire, The Buckhorn Fire, and the Hunter Fire.

 

A type 3 organization will take over managing the complex today and will continue their mop up operations on the fires that are being considered 90% contained.

 

Alexis West, a Okanogan Complex information officer tells KOZI that yesterdays weather was very conducive to support operations.

 

KOZI will be in contact with the new management team throughout the mop up process.
