The Okanogan Complex Fire consists of four separate fires: The Buckhorn, Leecher and Hunter Fires were all sparked by a lightning storm nearly two weeks ago and then there is the Goat Fire that started about a week later- the cause of that one remains under investigation.

 

Alexis West, an Information Officer with the Okanogan Complex gives us a fire update, including the 2 thousand acre goat fire that is showing extreme fire behavior. Two of the other fires, however are both in mop up stage.
