Favorable weather conditions that allowed firefighters to burn dry fuels ahead of fires in Douglas County are expected to turn today- and bring with it some high winds.
The fires, which have destroyed three homes and nine outbuildings, is said to be estimated at 20-percent containment.
Cindy Bork, Information Officers with Washington Inter Agency Incident Management Team #4, told KOZI that even with the predicted turn in weather today, they feel pretty good about where they stand with the blaze.
