In DouglasCounty, officials overseeing the Barker Canyon Wildfire Complex, which includes the Leahey and BarkerCanyon fires- have confirmed the loss of three homes and nine outbuildings.
Combined, the fires are estimated to be about 80 thousand acres- and are primarily burning dry grass and shrubs.
Karen Ripley, Information Officer with Washington Inter Agency Incident Management Team # 4, tells KOZI that initial reports claimed that only one structure was possibly consumed in the blaze.
There have been no injuries reported associated with the Barker Canyon Wildfire Complex fire.
