Brewster middle school students will benefit this year from a grant that will enhance science, math and engineering technology education.  Eric Driessen is the Superintendent of the BrewsterSchool District.

 

The STEM grant, an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, is a $1.2 million dollar grant from a non- profit launched in 2011. Schools around WashingtonState will receive money to encourage technical education. The new hands-on energy lab in Brewster was awarded in August under the ‘entrepreneur investments’ category of grants.
