What started out as a temporary plan to help control traffic coming into a construction zone, is now being considered by Chelan City Council as a potential permanent solution.
The new 3-way stop signs at the corner of Woodin and Columbia in downtown Chelan has caused quite a stir, and according to City Administrator, Jim Reinbold, they seem to be very popular.
The Chelan City Council will meet again next Thursday, September 13- and citizens are encouraged to contact council members and city officials with their ideas and thoughts on the 3way stop signs.
