ChelanCity Council members unanimously gave city officials the nod to move forward with plans for work on the Safeway corner, as part of the City’s Beautification Project.

 

City Administrator, Jim Reinbold, told KOZI that the project has been in the works for several years, and those charged with formulating a plan for the project were recently able to shave off more than 200 thousand dollars from the initial price.

 

City officials expect to see some headway on the project take place by the next council meeting, which is set for Thursday, September 13th at 6PM.
